Yesterday the San Mateo Trophy was held in Monzón, a scoring race for the Aragonese Criterium Cup.
The route was formed by a circuit of 1.7 kilometers, where the runners would have to complete 30 laps making a total of approximately 45 kilometers. From the starting gun there were different attacks until the fifth round formed the escape that reached the finish line, Néstor Bielsa and Sergio Domínguez entered.
Within the escape itself, an advance was formed with three runners with Bielsa in them while Dominguez defended his teammate in the chasing group. Behind, the differences with the squad were stable at 25-30 ”. Finally, Bielsa got a third place to the sprint behind the two escape companions being the winner Solé (Team Blue). Bielsa went up to the podium as 3rd classified in the race and 2nd elite, Dominguez climbed to the podium as 2nd sub 23 of the race.
