On Sunday 25, the team will travel to Bergara (Guipúzcoa) for the dispute of one of the most prestigious races nationwide, the Ascent to Gorla.
A very renowned test in which many of the current professional cyclists have recorded his name, Sergio Samitier along with Fernando Barceló climbed to the top of the podium in 2016. As a novelty this year the test extends to 140 kilometers in front at 125 kilometers from the previous edition.
For this occasion the team will be formed by: Rubén Állue, Germán Castel, Sergio Domínguez, Adrián García and Antonio Montón. They will be accompanied by Adrián Barceló as director and Manuel Oliver as assistant.
Adrián Barceló commented for this test: “We arrived at this important test undermined by two casualties from Lorién and Iulen's last minute illness. It is a young sub 23 block with almost all the first or second year runners of whom we hope this race will serve as an experience for future tests. It's a nice and hard tour with two climbs to Gorla with the best sub 23 of the squad ”
