First international start of the 2019 season for the La Tova team - Asesud Almudévar. Turn for the Week-End, round consisting of 3 stages, in Orthez (Aquitaine).
The return will begin on Saturday with a double sector: in the morning a time trial by teams of 12 kilometers and that same afternoon, a stage of 96 kilometers of mainly flat route except for levels of 3rd category.
On Sunday, the 120-kilometer queen stage will take place with two ports of 2nd category and two ports of 3rd category.
Adrián Barceló, team manager, commented: “First departure abroad of the team this season in a very complete lap such as the Week-End. We start with the team time trial, a test that we are preparing with great care and that I think we can make a good position given the riders we have. That same afternoon seemingly flat race and the next day the queen stage.
Year by year, the team is growing. This is the first exit to France and in a few months we will do more. ”
