Good weekend for the La Tova team - Almudévar Consulting in the three competitions held throughout the week.
In Renedo, in a timely manner, the San Antonio GP began with a first part of the fast race, around 42 km / h of average speed. Halfway through the race, the Catalan runner Raúl Nicolás leaked in a good escape for many kilometers, achieving points in the classification for the mountain.
In goal, Mellado would be the first runner of the team in 25th position followed by Nicolás (35th).
The next day, in Villasana de Mena, the next race with more flat terrain than the previous day with, again, the presence of Nicolás in the important leaks. In goal, the platoon was very fractured with Nicolás as the first runner of the team in 30th position followed by Elliot Reed (64th) and Antonio Garcia (88th).
On Saturday, the Guipúzcoan town of Ataún hosted a new event for the Euskaldun Tournament. The race was marked by the four mountain passes that selected the race with special mention to the last step located 10 kilometers away.
In the last step the platoon was fragmented into a group of 10 units with Mellado among its components, followed by a persecuting group with García and Nicolás. In goal, Mellado would be 10th classified, Nicolás 43º and García 46º. By squads, La Tova - Asesud Almudévar would be 7th classified.
